It's always fun to finding a bird in the wild and this video of an American Goldfinch is no different.
I stumbled across this male as he was feeding on wild thistle around Mary's Lake in Lawrence, Kansas.
This is one of their favorite seed types and why I feed them nyjer seed in the winter. Enjoy the short video
